Director Biography

First time director Alasdair K Boyce was born and raised in the north west highlands of Scotland. He studied Illustration at art school before moving into the film industry as a camera assistant where he accrued many credits on big budget feature films including Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Wonder Woman. Alasdair wrote his debut short film SKIN (on which he acted as director of photography, as well as writer / director) as a platform to showcase his talents as a cinematographer but was pleased to find the film garnered significant recognition for its writing and directing as well as it’s sumptuous visuals.
