Director Biography

Harriet Macdonald grew up in the island of Tasmania in Australia and much of being so dis-connected inspired much of her work about the feeling of belonging/identity as well as finding beauty in the mundane (passing long aimless summers with nothing to do). When she was 17 she was asked to become a spy but the seed was already planted from hours of VHS classics and she moved to London and began working in fashion film which marked her strong visual style and filming with the likes of Sir Ian McKellen. She now works on different styles of video always aiming to keep the audience glued to the screen.
