Reuben Hamlyn is an English-American writer and director who focuses on stories that address imbalances of power and people pushed to the margins of society. Reuben graduated Kings College London with a Liberal Arts degree in 2018. Alongside his day to day work as a corporate videographer he creates narrative, documentary, & art film. Reuben’s last short, ‘brother!,’ a found footage essay film investigating the swollen and synthetic forms of masculinity exhibited in the pro wrestling subculture, was exhibited at Copeland Gallery London. Reuben is also currently developing a short documentary shot in Himachal Pradesh, India in 2018. ‘Roger’ is Reuben’s first budgeted narrative short film.
