WEBSITE “Pale Blue Me” is an experimental short film that attempts to explore the place humans have in the universe. We tend to think that we have a privileged position and that we are the epitome of all things. But to put it in Carl Sagan’s words: “The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena”. Every form of life, the Earth and the entire cosmos, and, yes literally everything, comes from the cosmic dust of stars. However, keeping this in mind, we can reassure ourselves that we are part of something breathtakingly beautiful and infinitely great. Q&A with directors Theresa Haas and Maurice Miller after the screening.
SCREENING: Saturday 25.08.18, 1.40-2.55 PM
