In a strange world locked in a dystopian nightmare, an oppressive regime is met with riots and rebellion. Desperate to suppress chaos, the king triggers a perverse manipulative scheme before risking his dominance in a warped bid for companionship.
Born into a family of musicians in London, Liam first picked up a trumpet aged nine and was touted a jazz prodigy at ten. Mentored by British jazz legend Tommy Smith, Liam had modest success throughout his early teens, winning a clutch of awards including the Rotary Young Musician 2005 and reaching the finals of the P E Jazz Competition. During this period he also toured Europe and Canada with Smith’s Youth Orchestra and performed with some of the world’s greatest jazz and classical instrumentalists including John Patitucci, Evelyn Glennie, John Etheridge and renowned beatboxer Shlomo.
At thirteen Liam enrolled at the Purcell School of Music in Hertfordshire, where his habit for jazz was eclipsed by a lifelong interest in film. After a year-long spell at London’s Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Liam left to work in the film industry and soon began developing Nation Down.
This is his first ‘fully-fledged’ film project.
