Lauren Vandenbrook is a Toronto-based artist working on all sides of the camera. Upon completing her B.F.A. in Acting from York University, Lauren began her career in front of the camera, appearing in hit TV shows such as Being Erica, Saving Hope, Reign & Nikita. 

She made the transition to filmmaking after a successful decade of working professionally as a photographer. She makes her directorial debut with GOOD HANDS, which she also wrote & executive produced. Lauren is a member of  Women in Film & Television (WIFT-T) and the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT). She has multiple projects currently in development, including a feature documentary set to begin production early 2018.
